Error downloadin more than 4 regions
by Moazzam
on July 24, 2016
Hi Anton, I am trying to use the plugin. It is working fine up to 4 regions on the same page. When I create a fifth region and then try to download the to Excel I am getting the error message 'This could be caused by
my (lack of) programming skills'. Is there a limit on number of regions on the same page for this plugin. Can you please help. This is very important for me.

Thanks,
Moazzam

No need to change everything to dbms_lob.append. Add at two places a to_char:
else 'Sheet' || to_char( t_sheet_id )

t_tmp := t_tmp || '' || to_char( t_val( t_cols( c ).ind ).value_list(r).number_value ) || '';

numeric or value error
by Gerald Radack
on May 18, 2012
In my previous post, characters in angle brackets were stripped out. I am reposting without the angle brackets.

The following error is being raised when a report has a large result set:

ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error

The cause of the problem seems to be statements like the following:

t_tmp := t_tmp || 'some string';

Rewriting such statement as follows eliminates the numeric or value error.

dbms_lob.append(t_tmp, 'some string');

However, I am experiencing performance problems with large result sets.

Change the code of the plugin a bit :)
The Worksheet and Table tags should be outside the regions loop. Not that difficult.
