Interactive Report Dynamic Action Package

This is a collection of APEX 4.0 plugins designed to improve the layout of interactive reports. The package currently consists of 3 dynamic action plugins which have been designed to work together or independently.

The Package includes:
  • IR Freeze Columns - this plugin has been designed for very wide interactive reports to allow users to freeze a number of report columns on the left hand side/div, whilst wrapping the remaining columns in a horizontal scrollable div for an improved visual display and interaction.
  • IR Freeze Headers - this plugin has been designed for very long interactive reports to allow users to freeze the report column headers and wrap the data/rows into a fixed height vertical scrollable div whilst fixing the header row in place.
  • IR Column Groups - this is a modified version of the plugin built by Clarifit. It will add a row above the column headers designating which groups the columns belong to. The groups are derived from the interactive report column groups defined under "Report Attributes".

Theme 20 Issue

Currently the IR Freeze Columns plugin is not supported in theme 20 since it is not working correctly in IE.

There are also a number of width issues with different themes being investigated when using using cell like borders as they are slightly misaligned with the headers.

I'm aiming to have these resolved ASAP. Any further testing on custom theme designs is most welcomed.
