Dynamic Action Plugin
This Plug-in is based on the following jQuery plug-in: http://www.ericmmartin.com/projects/simplemodal It allows developers to make any object(s) modal. For example, if you wanted a region to be modal, you would define the region, then create a dynamic action (lets say on a button click) that would trigger the region to become modal. The object(s) defined in the Affected Elements section will be the objects that become modal. Zip file contains 2 plugins. One is to close the nodal window and the other is to open the modal window. Height problem in IE

Issue appears to be "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" in IE.

Height problem in IE

Just upgraded Apex from 4.0 to 4.1.1 and encountered a problem with the height of the div with class simplemodal-container in Internet Explorer 8 (but not in Firefox).
The height of the container is set to 15px, which basically means I don't see anything in the container (I checked, it was set to 116px in Apex 4.0).
No idea what the Apex version has to do with this. So, still looking for a solution. Will post it when I find one...

Demo Still working?

Hi Martin,
i'm already using the plugin in my app. today i wanted to compare the simple modal plugin vs the new Dialog Plugin. But the ShowM Modal Button is not longer working in the demo App.
