UILayout plug-in for APEX

UILayout plug-in for APEX

Plug-in for the UILayout creation

Please refer to the newest version on https://github.com/tobiasarnhold/uilayout-ut getting !

!! This version is outdated and should not be used anymore !!

This plug-in creates the standard view of UILayout without the need of any manual added javascript.

Key features:

- Ability to either move ID's or Classes to the UILayout areas by the plug-in or by the templat

- Sizing the layout areas and resizer

- Disable areas

- Styling: Load your own CSS files or style the UILayout via the plug-in

- Extra plug-in for the UILayout styling

- Extra plug-in for UILayout actions during the runtime

- Complete documentation

How To:

It is  a dynamic action plugin which will be initialized by a "page load" dynamic action. The appropriate TRUE Action is this plug-in: "UILayout - Initialize [Plug-in]" and for styling this plug-in: "UILayout - Styling [Plug-in]"

The extra plug-in will be initialized by a "button click event".

Bug Fix:

Version 1.3:The current version 1.2.1 of the UILayout plug-in did not work properly with APEX 4.1.There is an issue of the original engine since jQuery 1.6.1. APEX 4.1 uses version 1.6.2.

Description: http://plugins.jquery.com/content/crash-jquery-161

Future :

No more enhancements before APEX 4.1. I can't handle more settings during the initialization. I will only publish bug fixes.

Plugin start after page has been rendere
by Arnold

Hi Tobias,

Nice plugin but I have a problem. I have followed the instructions. Created a region containing an IR with a static_region_id named body. The IR get's rendered before the UILayout plugins starts. After it has started it show the IR in the body div. I saw that your demo page has a similar thing that has been covered with fading effects. I tried the approach to hide the body until the page is loaded but I can't find a way to execute the fade-in method after the apex plugins have loaded. Do you have a suggestion?

Kind regards,

I'm currently migrating an application from apex 3.2 to apex 4.0 and I want to use you plugin. Th problem I have at the moment is htat the application uses a table layout instead of a div lay out.
The contents of the page are not displayed right. When I change the theme to a custom apex 4.0 theme it works perfectly, but the client needs it's own lay-out.

Is there a way or do I need to change the lay out from tables to divs?
